I just got schooled on the language of Gen Z. We stumbled on a blog post by the Holderness Family addressing that generation’s lingo right before dinner.

Then my husband and I spent our entire meal learning a whole host of new words, or new definitions for old words, or old definition for old words that they think they invented. J 🙄😆
I have posted before how important it is for college-aged kids to have their own power of attorney documents. It is scary when an adult child is in an accident or has a serious medical event. It is devastating when their parent is with me in court trying to get a court-ordered guardianship so that they can even know the condition of their child.
A Health Care Power of Attorney makes that unnecessary and allows the parent(s) to obtain information and help make medical decisions when their child is incapacitated. A Durable Power of Attorney for Finances and Property allows the parent to help make sure bills are paid and other financial matters attended to.
Rebecca Mason Law is running a special 🎉 for college 🎓 students. Normally the estate planning process takes 4 to 6 weeks at our office. We have developed a process to execute the power of attorney ⚖️ documents the same day we meet with you and your child. For back to school we are offering $100 off the documents as an incentive making the package only $400.
So do a “vibe check” and determine if you want to work with a “CEO” attorney who “hits different”. You know this is going to “live rent free” in your head until you call to make your appointment!
